Finally!!!!!!!! . . . I have been having a pretty hard time coming up with a solution that can handle all the different menus / gui elements / combat hud / etc and keep track of keyboard input between each thing. WELLLLL I came up with a solution that works stupidly good, like really good, so I am happy with it. Everything is falling into place. :D
Started to implement the combat system. It's just the graphics gui in the bottom right, but you can switch palettes and press the arrow keys and see the initial buttons being pressed. This is going to be a bit involved, because the combo system is complicated and one of the vital areas of the game. Will be cool once its working though!
