This is just another character sketch for today. I’m trying to throw as many ideas out there as possible so when it comes time to start creating these outfits we’ll have a lot to work with.

This is a quick sketch that I worked on tonight. Trying to design some original characters that will end up being in the game. Since the characters are fully customizable, and yes we’ve already got that part of the code working completely, it’ll be up to me to design a wide array of different outfits and character personalities to match the diverse personalities of the users we hope will be playing this title.

Since the release of our game (for beta testing) is still at least a year away I thought it would be cool to compile a list of the top games that I'll be playing or at least anticipating to get me through this phase of the process. Don't get me wrong, I'm busting serious tail here, but we all need a little downtime and here are the titles I'll be getting my fix on until our first project is complete.

Art for Print/Publishing Photoshop Tutorial
As someone who is interested in art, and particularly digital art, I often run across websites of people who are trying to get their worked published in book form. They either plan on self-publishing or going the old fashioned route of finding someone who will publish their book. It's usually a children's book. I often hear these same people tell stories of how the art for their project looked great on the screen but once they printed it out using whatever printing service they chose (usually for the purposes of making a mock-up of the book) the art was dull and the details had washed out.
I've worked in publishing before and have had numerous children's books featuring my art appear in stores like Barne's and Noble etc. I often found myself in the same predicament...
